Vegas Vacations on the Cheap

Taking a trip to Las Vegas can be one of the most exciting and memorable vacations you will ever have. That is if you take the time to plan. Really, travelling to sin city on a whim can be a cruel reminder of Murphy’s Law, which is probably why so many hit comedies start out that way!

A general rule of thumb when it comes to Vegas Vacations is that you should start planning your trip four months in advance. This will give you enough time to investigate all of the special deals and packages that are offered for weekend trips to the city. Oh, and that’s another thing — don’t spend more than a weekend in Vegas. As you probably already know, it is a tempting, expensive, and exciting city that tends to keep people up way past their bedtimes, and a weekend of this is more than most can take.

When you do plan your vacation, it is best to schedule it during the summer, which is considered the off-peak season in Las Vegas. Sure, it’s hot… it’s the desert, after all. But bring a few extra bottles of sunscreen and save your wallet some heat.

You should also remember that there’s much more to do in Vegas than simply roll the dice. The city is home to some of the most highly rated spas in the country as well as a world-class shopping district. And if you’ve spent too much time indoors, there are many challenging hiking trails in the nearby mountains.
